This weekend Crouch End artists @ceopenstudios are opening up their homes and studios to the public. There’s a huge amount of talent in our area and this is a great opportunity to see a diverse range of works across a range of media. As @damel_theartist explains in Zoe Bee’s Village Raw feature: “Art is something we share, and working in a group takes things to a different level.” You can check out the group show @hthartscentre @plygallery from Friday through to Sunday - where you can also pick up a printed map and guide to the trail (also check local coffee shops). The studios, homes and other venues are open Saturday and Sunday 12 to 6pm. You can find details on the website - check @ceopenstudios for details. We’re proud to sponsor this event and really recommend taking the opportunity to visit the artists and see their work. .

I wanted to find a way of making prints of the building, which would emphasis and draw attention to its beautiful details. Using different aspects of the building and a variety of compositional methods, I have made a series of photolithographic prints. With the addition of gold chine-collé to reference the bronze details found in the Town Hall, my images become something else, no longer straight representations of the building, but new compositions, with other motifs emerging…’
