2019 was a big year for Hornsey Town Hall Arts Centre and The TIME + SPACE Co. with the start of an exciting new era for Hornsey Town Hall.

The early part of the year saw the opening of co-work space Hornsey Works as part of The TIME + WORKSPACE Group and HTH Arts Centre CAFÉ, both of which will return post-restoration. The building was also used as a filming location for some high-profile films and TV shows, including a Louis Tomlinson music video and TV series Alex Rider.

July 2019 was an especially busy month with celebratory event CREATE which brought more than 2,000 people to the Town Hall Square for a programme of music, dance, films, workshops and family fun! The building closed following the event, for the long-awaited restoration works to begin. The new timeline looks back at the rich history of the iconic Town Hall building as we prepare for an exciting future.
